Baptismal Preparation Classes During Lent

Although there will be no baptisms during the Lenten Season, the next Baptismal Class will still be offered on Monday, March 1st.

There will be no Baptismal Class on Monday, April 5th - Easter Monday. The next class would be on Monday, May 3rd. Please plan accordingly.

 

Baptism Preparation Classes

Please register for the class so that we can have enough materials and supplies ready.

Baptism classes in Spanish are held on the second Friday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in room 103. Contact Carmen at 770-923-6633 ext 110 to register.

 

Guidelines For First Reconciliation & First Communion

1st grade - 5th grade First Penance and First Communion

Family Sacramental Preparation Dates:
(exact dates and times may change, please watch the parish bulletin for details) 

 Middle School (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) First Penance and First Communion

First Penance Preparation Dates: Wednesday, November 11th, 6:30-8:30pm; and Saturday, December 5, 9:00am - 1:00pm. Celebration of First Penance will be during the retreat morning.

First Communion Preparation Dates: Wednesday, February 17th, 6:30-8:30pm; Tuesday, March 16th, 6:30 - 8:30pm; Tuesday, April 13th, 6:30-8:30pm.

First Communion Retreat for 2nd through 5th grade candidates is April 24th from 8:15am - 12:00pm.

Date for the celebration of First Communion, Saturday, May 1st, at 11:00am and 2:00pm in Spanish and on Saturday, May 8th at 11:00am and 2:00pm in English.

Baptism

Instructions for parents and godparents are the first Monday each month, from 6:30-8:00 pm. Baptisms are celebrated in English the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month during the 8:30 am Mass. Arrangements must be made through the Religious Education office: Sharon Maldonado 770-923-6633 ext 118.

Bautismos

Quienes estén interesados en el sacramento del Bautismo para sus hijos, han de tomar las pláticas PRE-bautismales los Segundo viernes de cada mes; 6:30 pm Lind Hall (según el horario que aparece en el Oficina Hispana).
