Workshop 4: How to Use Twitter for your Job Search
As social media continues to push to the forefront in our everyday lives,
it is becoming increasingly important to have knowledge on the social media
applications that employers and recruiters are using today to seek candidates for open positions.
In this workshop, our focus will be on how Twitter can help you with your job
search efforts and land you that next big job! Our presenter, Alicia Allen,
will share with you how Twitter helped her land a 10-month contract position
that she loves. She'll share easy, useful, beginner Twitter information with you.
We’ll start with stories of how Twitter has helped people in their job
search, and in general, life as a consumer. Then we’ll cover a few common
Twitter usage terms, and seven easy steps to get started and reap benefits quickly.
About the Presenter:

She still loves the father of her two sons, who are in their early 20s.
The family came to north Atlanta in y2k.Here Alicia worked for ACS,
Macy's, and now as software tester for Hunter Technologies at LexisNexis
