Workshop 10: Breaking Through Your Barriers to a Successful Job Search, by Vicki Andino, Life Coach
This workshop will include 5 – 10 points on what holds us back and how to change our perspectives so they are no longer barriers. Some of the points are:
- F.E.A.R. (false evidence appearing real), fight or flight, fear of the unknown
- Attitudes
- Support systems
- Self-Care
- Following your passions and dreams
- Investing in yourself
- Isolation
- Doing for others (volunteering)
- Using your time wisely (doing “free” projects at home – i.e. decluttering, spending time with friends and family)
For each point, there will be an exercise for the audience to do to further the learning and keep them engaged.
