This is a story of our St. John Neumann Parish, as well as a commemorative DVD celebrating our Dedication Mass of June 24, 2010. Here is a short trailer you can watch, DVDs will be going for $10 each. The proceeds from each copy will go to the Building a Legacy of Faith campaign fund. The sale of each copy will benefit the Parish today and all our days to come. Be sure to check it out!
We are hoping all will want to own their own copy of the SJN "Our Story" DVD available the weekend of February 5th and 6th at St John Neumann Church.
For $10, it's a heart felt story told by our own Monsignor and our Parish Family telling the story of our roots set down here in Lilburn, GA. From our humble beginnings in the Parkview H.S. auditorium, to this beautiful new Church and its living stones it has been an amazing journey. We are truly "Building a Legacy of Faith" with this next chapter in the mission of our church.
The musical score is performed by our own Thomas Van Soelen and the St. John Neumann Choirs. We used liturgy footage and music from the Dedication Mass choir and instrumentalists. The professionally recorded interviews conducted with the clergy and SJN administration share memorable insights and touching messages. The narrated script includes the very talented voices of Deacons Mike Byrne and Greg Ollick, and a variety of parishioners and lectors. "Our Story" is fully translated into Spanish with narrators and beautiful sub-scripting during the English interviews.
All of the proceeds will be given to the SJN Building a Legacy of Faith fund. We will be downstairs selling the DVD from a booth between masses for a while, starting this weekend.
