How do you share your time and talents?
Teaching PSR, 1st and 2nd grades. I have done the music for Vacation Bible School (VBS) and worked up different skits for First Reconciliation preparation.
What got you started?
My son started first grade and I had changed jobs and had more time to give to the church.
Why do you continue?
I love being with the kids. I love being creative, going over the lessons and trying to have fun with a class.
~ Favorite Moment ~
Last year’s Christmas Play. I was so proud of all of them. At PSR, when they all said the Act of Contrition. They had all worked so hard to learn it and now they know it!

Children love to learn when the person teaching them loves to teach.

Volunteers needed to do follow up contacts with the bereaved and assist with special All Souls Day Mass. An 8 week support group is offered three times a year to assist in grief work. Contact Mrs. Bette Lind at 770-985-0590. See also: National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved.
