Sharing Their Gifts of Time and Talent

Christina Cannon

How do you share your time and talents?
This is the first time I have volunteered to assist in the Church’s Fall Festival. As a church member, I have helped with bringing food during the Thanksgiving drive and assisted with other items during other collections. I volunteer with Brownie Troop 1925 and also at SJN school.

What got you started?
As for the Fall Festival, I just happened to listen in on two ladies discussing they were in need of assistance. When they asked if I could assist, I said yes.

Why do you continue?

Being helpful is in my nature. I have always assisted others.

~ Favorite Moment ~
Getting that first cup of hot chocolate from a lady who was helping. It felt like a big thank you for being there. I also had another mom bring me a cup of coffee later in the morning, which was tasty.

~ Quote ~
When you lend a helping hand, you do good for others and yourself.
