The SJN Career Ministry is comprised of dedicated, focused and results oriented volunteers with a common goal of also providing a positive environment, spiritual enrichment, motivation and inspiration to the job search process.  We are currently seeking new volunteers to assist the ministry.

You can get involved in one of the following ways:

Volunteer
Serve the ministry by helping to greet new guests, man the sign-in table, or back up the core leadership group in any number of responsibilities. There's a place for you, just let us know what you would like to do!

Join the speakers' panel
Address the group of job seekers on topics relevant to successful job search and placement. Examples include networking, resumes, personal branding, and interviewing techniques.

Serve as an industry sector contact
You should be willing to speak to individuals one-on-one about your employment field. See the list below for industry sectors you may fit. This list will be managed by the ministry and will not be openly distributed to maintain your confidentiality.

Provide your professional services
Unemployed heads of household may benefit from legal, financial, insurance, and real estate advice at a time of crisis. The ministry will confidentially direct those in need to you for consultation at complementary or reduced fees.
