Mission
The mission of SJN Career Ministry is to provide a support group, networking opportunities, job search resources, and job leads for members and non-members of the church community who are unemployed, under-employed or returning to the work place. It is comprised of dedicated, focused and results oriented volunteers with a common goal of providing a positive environment, spiritual enrichment, motivation and inspiration to the job search process.
Meetings
Our networking meetings are designed to be inspirational and motivational. At each meeting you can expect to:
- Hear keynote speakers on career related topics.
- Have your resume reviewed by volunteer career coaches, HR and recruiting professionals.
- Network with other individuals for job leads and industry information.
- Hear success stories from others who have become gainfully employed through networking.
- Enjoy refreshments and fellowship.
Meetings are held in Lind Hall* located on the ground floor of the church building. Follow signs to meeting location.
*Note: We are in the process of remodeling our church. Therefore, due to construction, parking is limited; however, there is parking available on both sides of the church. Signs will be posted to direct you to at each entrance.

Our new career ministry workshop schedule for 2010 will be the first and third Saturday of every month.* Join us at 9:00 a.m. for the workshop and at 11:00 a.m. for resume reviews and networking. Our meeting ends at 12 Noon. 2010 Upcoming Dates**
