Sacramental Guidelines for Confirmation |

- All families (Catholic school or public school) must be registered in the St. John Neumann Confirmation Preparation Program in both 9th and 10th grade.
9th Grade Foundational Program
(Catholic school or public school) - All teens are required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta to either be in an approved program at their parish, or to be in Catholic schools. At St. John Neumann Life Teen is our program for 9th grade.
- Life Teen is an approved parish program in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. We offer a Wednesday Pizza and Prayer 6:30-8:30 and a Sunday Life Night 7:00-9:00PM. All teens are invited to attend whichever night’s they choose. All teens are required to attend at least 4 of these nights’ each month to be considered in the parish program and to continue their Confirmation preparation.
10th Grade Formational Program
(Catholic school or public school)
- Teens should have attended a Catholic school or parish religious program for at least 2 years.
- All (Catholic or public school) teens are required to attend the Confirmation Retreat
- All (Catholic or public school) teens are required to attend one Sunday Life Night (7:00-9:00PM) per month
- All (Catholic or public school) teens are required to attend one Wednesday Pizza and Prayer (6:30-8:30PM) per month
- All (Catholic or public school) teens are required to Work the Food Saturday/Sunday November 17-18, 2007
Important Dates
- October 28th Sponsor Eligibility Form Due
- October 28th 6:00PM Life Teen Presentation Mass and special evening to follow for our Candidate's and their Sponsor. (6:00-9:00PM)
- November 4th Saint Project due
- November 4th Baptismal Certificate with the seal due
- Confirmation rehearsal TBA
- May 5th and 6th is Confirmation
The ROC sessions for this year have been canceled. Teens, who missed more than 2 of the ROC sessions last year, will need to make them up. Packets with the make up work will be available following the Life Teen Mass on Oct. 21. We will at that time go over the packet and what the teens will need to do to be ready for Confirmation.
