Preparing for Confirmation generally takes place in the tenth grade or above for teens who have been participating in parish life and a faith formation program for two years prior to the sacramental year.
The process includes a retreat and sessions for the teens to grow in their understanding of the Holy Spirit’s actions in their lives. Each part of the preparation process provides opportunities for the teen and their sponsors to share their experiences and reflect on their journey of faith. The process also involves parents recognizing they are the first and most important teachers in their teens lives.
Note: Sunday, August 24th, 2008 is the Parent Orientation Make Up Meeting following the 5:00pm Life Teen Mass.
