For your convenience, most program schedules, fees and calendars for the year can be found outside the Parish Ministries Office.  Registration for the 2008/2009 school year begins on April 16. You are welcome to come in to the Parish Ministries Office to register or come to our Open House on Sunday April 27th from 8:30am to 1:30pm in Lind Hall.  PSR Classes start Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10.  Catechists should be calling students the week before classes start.  Class lists are posted the first day of class outside of the Parish Ministries Office.

PSR classes for grades Pre-K thru 5th - choose from Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Classes fill up quickly. Children of registered SJN parishioners are given priority in class placement on a first come first serve basis.  Children making sacraments have class on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:15.

EDGE Middle School Program for our 6 - 8 graders
is on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 in Donnellan Hall.  This program focuses on catechetical themes and life issues that affect our youth.  There are also recreational and social activities that build community. Edge starts a week before PSR in September and ends the week after PSR in April.  For more detailed information click on Middle School on the SJN Home Page.

Life Teen – Life nights for high school students are held on Sunday evenings following the Life Teen Mass at 6:00 PM.  These evenings help teens deepen their faith and better understand their role as young Catholics today.  There is also Wednesday night Pizza and Prayer from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. There is no fee for Life Teen.  For more information click on Life Teen on the SJN Home Page.

Confirmation – Confirmation preparation begins in ninth grade.  Tenth graders should  enroll in Confirmation by completing a yellow sacramental form.  For more detailed information click on Life Teen on the SJN Home Page.

First Reconciliation and First Communion – is a family based program that meets a total of five times during the school year on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.  Some home lessons and a student retreat and rehearsal before each sacrament on a Saturday are also required.  A child must be in religious education for one year prior to receiving these sacraments. PSR fees cover sacrament preparation.  Enroll your child/children to receive these sacraments by filling out a yellow sacramental form. For more information click on Sacraments on the SJN Home Page.

Special Needs – Classes for those with special needs are on Monday evenings.  Contact Patti in the Parish Ministries Office for details and to register.

Family Formation – This program is designed to assist families; those with two parents, single parents, and/or grandparents etc. in learning more about their Catholic faith within the format of home lessons, adult teachings and community gatherings.  Children’s lessons are written for Pre-K through 5th grade.  A separate registration form is required to enroll in this program.
