Catholic Bible Study invites all women to join us! MISSION STATEMENT
To develop in women a living faith available through active participation and commitment to biblical study based on the teachings of the Catholic faith; thereby, drawing them into a closer, ongoing relationship with Christ and His Church, and helping them experience and live out their faith in their daily lives. WCBS is held Wednesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon from September through April. Home preparation includes daily study questions. On Wednesday mornings we will cover the material in small group discussions and with a teaching lecture. There is no registration fee. We depend entirely on donations from our members.
Registration forms can be found in the vestibule of St. John Neumann, outside the Religious Education office, or you can go to www.sjnlilburn.com (PDF). You will need to print out the form, complete it, and return it to the Parish Ministires Office c/o WCBS at St. John Neumann, 801 Tom Smith Road, Lilburn, GA 30047. WCBS Common Questions: What king of Bible do I need? It is not necessary to purchase a Bible to join the study. We highly recommend that you have a Catholic Bible. What if I have never been in a Bible study before? This is not a problem. Your desire to learn more about the Word of God is all the knowledge you need to have! Do you have something for my child(ren)? A nursery is available. Nursery is not offered on a drop-in basis. You must register your child(ren) at the same time you register for the study. |
