Workshop 1: Department of Labor Resources for Job Seekers
Even if you're not receiving unemployment compensation, you can take advantage of an extensive array of resources available through the Department of Labor. Laura Gomez, a Saint John Neumann parishioner who heads up the team that assists laid off workers, will provide an overview of these resources. She will give out a booklet called "Resource Guide for Job Seekers" and discuss relevant topics such as dealing with unemployment, setting goals, training options, researching companies and more.
