Electronic Giving Program

Think eGive. We’re keeping up with the times by offering our Parishioners a new way to help our ministry. Our Electronic Giving Program will allow you to make contributions for the weekly Offertory and the Building a Legacy of Faith Capital Campaign without having to lift a pen to write a check or reach into your wallet for cash! Save time, simplify your life, and support our parish!

It’s easy, here is how it works:

You authorize a specified amount of money to be electronically transferred directly from your credit card to the parish account. You also specify the amount and the frequency of the transfer.

It is fast, safe, and easy! In fact, it is less risky than checks, which can be lost, stolen or destroyed. And the rate of accuracy is high. The electronic transfer will cost you nothing. You save the cost of the check, and we save the cost of offertory envelopes. The parish will issue a donation statement for your yearly tax records. Your bank statement or credit card statements will provide you with a record of transfer as additional proof of your contributions. Donations via electronic transfer can be made to our general fund or our building fund.

Of course you can cancel your authorization at any time. But we believe that once you have enjoyed the convenience and savings of this new program, you won’t want to go back to the “old fashioned” way of contributing to your church.

If you have any question please call Bill Marten at 770-923-6633.

Ministry Spotlight

Cursillo/Ultreya

Coordinators:  Steve & Christy McCormack      678-344-8012

Cursillo seeks to reveal God’s work in each of our lives and to help us to find new life in doing God’s work. The ministry begins with candidates’ participation in their first Cursillo weekend. These weekends occur twice yearly at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers. The Cursillo weekend emphasizes the fundamentals of Prayer, Study, and Action as means to walk closer with Our Lord. The goal of Cursillo is to promote leadership in the Catholic lay community through countless forms of self-giving and community involvement. Our parish Cursillo community meets monthly to renew the lessons of Cursillo at an event called Ultreya. During Ultreya, members break bread together at a pot luck dinner and follow with spiritual discussions highlighting the lessons available through Prayer, Study, and Action. In addition, many members of the Cursillo community meet weekly in small groups to keep these lessons more accessible in their daily lives.
