 Confirmation
Preparing for Confirmation generally takes place in the tenth grade or above for teens who have been participating in parish life and a faith formation program for two years prior to the sacramental year.
The process includes a retreat and sessions for the teens to grow in their understanding of the Holy Spirit’s actions in their lives. Each part of the preparation process provides opportunities for the teen and their sponsors to share their experiences and reflect on their journey of faith. The process also involves parents recognizing they are the first and most important teachers in their teens lives.
Note: Sunday, August 24th, 2008 is the Parent Orientation Make Up Meeting following the 5:00pm Life Teen Mass. |
- All families (Catholic school or public school) must be registered in the St. John Neumann Confirmation Preparation Program in both 9th and 10th grade.
9th Grade Foundational Program
(Catholic school or public school) - All teens are required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta to either be in an approved program at their parish, or Catholic schools. At St. John Neumann, Life Teen is our program for the 9th grade.
- Life Teen is an approved parish program in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. We offer a Sunday Night Program starting with Mass at 5:00 PM followed by a Life Night from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. All teens are to be in attendance on at least 3 of these nights per month to be considered in the Parish Program.

Life Teen Mass & Life NightsJoin us for the 5:00 pm Life Teen Mass and then come down to Lind Hall for Life Night. Life Nights begin at after the 5 p.m. Life Teen Mass and end at 8:00. Pizza & PrayerGather in Lind Hall at 6:30 pm for Pizza and Hang Time followed by Praise and Worship in the Church. GreetersGreeters meet at Church @ 4:30 pm on Sundays. |

Motherhood is an extremely rewarding vocation. It is also one of the most demanding. The mission of the St. John Neumann Moms' Circle is to support moms with younger children through faith sharing, friendship, community service and education. The Moms' Circle meets the third Tuesday of each month (August through May) from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Contact Mary Del Mazo 678-471-1900.
