Stewards In Action: Kay Beaudoin

Kday BeaudoinSharing Their Gifts of Time and Talent

Kay Beaudoin

Parishioner Since 1988

How do you share your time and talents?
I love teaching 2nd grades because I enjoy teaching about the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

What got you started?
Father Paddy laid a great guilt trip on parishioners who were not involved enough and I felt a tug on my heart to check into working with young children. That was 11 years ago!

Why do you continue?
The children are such a blessing. I love it when I see that they understand how much God loves them and when
they understand His mercy.

~ Favorite Moment ~
My favorite moment is when the children receive Jesus for the first time in the sacrament of Holy Eucharist.

~ Quote ~
“Do small things with great love.”

Ministry Spotlight

Lectors

lector-50.gif

Lectors are ministers of the Word. When the scriptures are read at Mass, God speaks through us and calls us to respond in faith and love. The Ministry of the Word is vital to the life of the Church, since we are proclaiming the living word of God! It continues to be alive as we bring the good news with our own deep faith and confident voice! Come join us in this wonderful ministry and become a Lector. Watch for future announcements for training workshops. If interested, please contact Mike Rybak (770) 979-7493.
